FENSA Indemnity Insurance
As an indemnity provider we are pleased to include Fensa insurance in our suite of indemnity policies.
From 2002 onwards replacement windows and doors require a FENSA certificate in order to comply with building regulations. Responsibility for compliance rests with the authorised installers who provided the FENSA certificate in the first place. This document is consequently required by purchasers at the point the property is sold.
If it's not available, as is commonplace, then Fensa insurance can be provided instead. Cover is generally provided on the same basis as any other lack of Building Regulations or Lack of Planning Permission policies.
The Fensa product covers loss of market value, damages, and expenses arising from enforcement notices or proceedings. The policy will not cover the cost of the replacement of defective doors or glazing.
We are appointed representatives of Stewart Title and are able to provide approaching 100 standard policies. Additionally we are able to provide bespoke quotes and policies for non-standard risks. Furthermore our IT system is able to offer the following;
- Create multiple quotes
- Offer sample insurance policies
- Provide a draft mechanism to store quotes
- And you'll receive your invoice and the policy instantly upon order
Our friendly, professional, team will walk you through our processes and look to understand your needs and how you wish to work. We have Fee Earners who use our automated system, whilst others email in quote requests and look for the human touch.
